COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) PRECAUTIONS

Metropolitan Studios aims to maintain healthy business policies and practices for the protection of our clients and staff.

Our COVID-19 policies and procedures are informed by current CDC guidance and Community Levels.

These include:

  • Affirming the decision to vaccinate for those who can.

  • Requiring proof of vaccination at certain events.

  • Currently, we prefer masks to be work at all times at events, classes, and workshops produced by Metropolitan Studios, The Atlanta School of Burlesque, and The Candybox Revue. Private events and events by persons renting the studio should determine their policy and inform their guests in advance.

  • Conducting in-person screenings for anyone entering the building.

  • Maintaining reduced class sizes in order to practice safe physical/social distancing.

Vaccines

We know the best way to stop the spread of COVID-19 and the Delta variant is to get vaccinated against COVID-19, and we encourage anyone who is able to, to get vaccinated, if you have not already done so.

#maskup

The science also tells us that masking indoors will maximize protection and prevent possible spread to others. Consistent with CDC guidance and using CDC’s COVID-19 data, we are requiring mask-wearing in and around our property or where mask-wearing is recommended by CDC guidance for specific settings.

Check-in Screenings

We require all persons to be screened upon arrival at the building. Screening and health checks are not a replacement for other protective measures such as vaccination, physical/social distancing, and mask wearing. This consists of a temperature check, short questionnaire, and completion of a contact tracing form.
